CROPulse: structuring the digitalisation of CROs and the pharmaceutical value chain
CROPulse is the flagship project through which Gencovery asserts its leadership in structuring the digitalisation of contract research organisations (CROs) in France and Europe. A collaborative, sovereign project with strong impact across the entire pharma-biotech value chain.

The challenge: fragmented CROs in a pressured ecosystem
CROs (Contract Research Organisations) are the invisible pillars of pharmaceutical R&D. They carry out 60-70% of pre-clinical and clinical trials on behalf of pharma and biotech sponsors. Yet their digitalisation lags behind: data scattered across heterogeneous systems, exchanges via email and Excel, non-GxP-compliant audit trails, inability to leverage accumulated data.
Facing growing regulatory pressure (FDA, EMA, AI Act), increased international competition and the emergence of AI as a decisive competitive advantage, CROs that do not digitalise rapidly risk losing their position in the value chain.

The CROPulse response: a shared, sovereign and interoperable infrastructure
Initiated by Gencovery with 7 founding partners from the CRO and pharma ecosystem of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, CROPulse offers a systemic response: to build a common digital infrastructure that CROs can adopt individually while benefiting from collective network effects.
This infrastructure is built on Constellab — Gencovery's data and AI platform — and natively integrates GxP standards (audit trail, validation, access management), GDPR, and the interoperability formats (CDISC, FHIR) that pharma sponsors and regulatory authorities require.
Gencovery, architect of pharma digitalisation
CROPulse is not an isolated project. It is the expression of a vision carried by Gencovery since its founding: to structure the digitalisation of the entire pharmaceutical value chain — from subcontracting CROs to pharma and biotech sponsors, academic laboratories and regulatory institutions.
As the architect of this transformation, Gencovery does not sell a tool: it builds the collaborative infrastructure that the ecosystem was missing. A sovereign, traceable, interoperable infrastructure — to which every actor can contribute and from which every actor can benefit.

Do you still have a question?
Our team is at your disposal to answer them.
What is the minimum amount to invest in Gencovery?
You can invest from as little as €50. Our goal is to make investment accessible to the widest possible audience, whether it's an initial discovery commitment or more significant support. Symbolic tiers are available: €50 (Explorer), €100 (Engaged), €500 (Actor), €1,000 (Pioneer), plus a free-amount option for anything beyond.
What is BSA-AIR and how does it work?
BSA-AIR (Bon de Souscription d'Actions — Accord d'Investissement Rapide) is the French equivalent of the American SAFE bond. It is a simple financial instrument that lets you invest now and receive shares at a future funding round, without needing to negotiate a complex valuation today. In Phase 1, investors benefit from a 20% bonus at conversion compared to the next round's investors — rewarding the trust placed upfront.
What is Gencovery's valuation and what is the return potential?
Phase 1 opens at an initial valuation of €5M. The goal is to reach a valuation of €50M by 2027-2028, representing a x10 potential. Beyond that, Phase 3 aims to raise €100M by 2030 for global deployment, with a x50 potential for early investors. These projections are based on execution of the CROPulse roadmap and Constellab's commercial growth.
Investing carries risks. Projections are not guaranteed.
What are the risks associated with this investment?
Like any investment in a growing company, this carries risks: risk of partial or total capital loss, liquidity risk (shares are not publicly traded), and execution risk related to the roadmap. To mitigate these risks, Gencovery already has 5+ years of existence, €1M+ R&D invested, 10+ active clients and a mature product. We recommend only investing amounts you can afford to lock up over a 3-to-5 year horizon.
When and how will I get my investment back?
Exit can occur at a liquidity event: an IPO or secondary sale of your securities to another investor. The target horizon is 3 to 5 years from your investment date. BSA-AIRs convert to shares at the next funding round, after which your shareholder rights are fully established. No cash repayment is guaranteed before such an event.
Where exactly does the money I invest go?
Every euro invested in Gencovery is allocated transparently: 3 cents go to the Les Ponts de Mariane foundation to build life-saving digital bridges, 3 cents fund high-impact health projects (digital twin, Constellab Care in Africa), and 6 cents are invested in commercial development, R&D and the Constellab platform. This allocation reflects our mission-driven company status, enshrined in our bylaws since 9 May 2026.
What is a mission-driven company and why does it matter?
A mission-driven company is one that enshrines social or environmental impact objectives in its legal bylaws, alongside financial goals. Since 9 May 2026, Gencovery is officially a mission-driven company with the purpose: "Transform and improve lives through a secure, open, ethical and collaborative model." This means every strategic decision — including the use of your investment — is legally bound to uphold this commitment, under the oversight of an independent mission committee.
What is Constellab and why is it a competitive advantage?
Constellab is the data and AI platform developed by Gencovery for life sciences. It allows scientific organisations to manage, analyse and share complex data in a sovereign, secure and reproducible way — without dependency on American clouds. After 5+ years of R&D, Constellab is a mature technology used by CROs, pharmaceutical labs and academic institutions. It is the main asset underpinning Gencovery's value and the core of our growth roadmap.
What is the Les Ponts de Mariane foundation?
The Les Ponts de Mariane foundation, created by Djomnagan Adama Ouattara (co-founder of Gencovery), has a mission to build digital bridges to connect and improve the lives of the most vulnerable populations in the world. It funds concrete digital infrastructure projects — access to health data, education and economic life — in isolated regions, primarily in Africa. 3 cents of every euro invested in Gencovery are directly allocated to this foundation.
